The business continued to thrive throughout the 1990’s and the company was incorporated in 1996. Whitenight’s Wholesale Produce Company, Inc. also became increasingly active in the community through the 1990’s, participating in area parades and handing out fresh produce.
Presently, there are thirteen tractor-trailer trucks to bring produce to our facility. Twelve refrigerated delivery trucks now ship produce from our climate controlled facility to our many valued customers. From office/sales staff to warehouse workers to truck drivers, thirty-two Whitenight employees now help to serve our customer’s produce needs.

In 1972 Delavan and his wife Shirley purchased the business and began selling and delivering produce with three trucks. Produce was picked up at the Baltimore Produce Market and then delivered to customers. The first tractor-trailer was purchased in 1976.
In 1982 there were a total of two tractor-trailer trucks, six delivery trucks, and two delivery vans. In 1986 two additional tractor-trailer trucks were added plus more delivery trucks to keep up with the increased volume of business.
